The Jaws rod blank is made of high modulus graphite carbon composite. Originally designed in Japan for butterfly jigging angler. In 2006, Jaws international redesigned the product to make it longer.

In order to meet US angler standards, Jaws rod blank is made extremely strong and durable because of the Japan Toray made high modulus carbon composite fibers; therefore, Jaws is comfortable to offer customer a Limited Life Warranty.

Jaws rod blank has moderate action when anglers using high-tech no stretch braided line with heavy drag setting on reel (over 20lb even 30lb). The moderate action rod will absorb the most fish fighting power to prevent the big one from breaking away, and  keeping stress on fish not on your arm. Once anglers fish with lower drag setting, these Jaws rod blanks will offer fast tip action like other graphite rods. Anglers are still able to fish with mono line for live bait or cast surface iron.
