Choose the cup that matches your reel family/generation:

◉ NS Cup — fits:

➥ Shimano newer models such as Stella ’08+ 5000–20000, Saragosa 5000–10000 SW, TwinPower, Trinidad A-Series 8–30, Talica 8–12, TranX 500.

◉ S Cup — fits:

➥ Shimano earlier models such as Stella, TwinPower, Calcutta 400–700, Trinidad (incl. A-Series) 12–30.

◉ D Cup — fits:

➥ Many mid-size Daiwa reels; also Shimano 2014 AERO Technium XS-C 10000 surf reel.

⭕ Installation Tips

◉ Remove the factory knob. Reuse your original bearings/sleeves and follow the included diagram. Ensure all parts are clean, aligned, and spin smoothly.

◉ Shimano Stella (’04) SW4000, 5000 HG/PG → S Cup.

◉ Shimano Stella 6000, 8000 FA (U.S.) → S Cup.

◉ Shimano TwinPower 4000, 5000 HG/PG → S Cup.

◉ Some Stella 3000 / 4000 FD → S Cup.

◉ Shimano Saragosa 4000–6000 → S Cup + sleeve (sleeve required).

◉ Shimano New Stella (’08+) SW4000 XG/PG, SW5000–20000 → NS Cup.

◉ Shimano New Talica 8–12 → NS Cup.

◉ Shimano New TwinPower (’09+) SW4000 XG/PG, 5000–12000 HG → NS Cup.

◉ D Cup commonly fits reels labeled “S” in the Japan Daiwa catalog for sizes 1500–4000.

◑ Note: The “S” label is a knob size indicator only—shaft length and bearing sizes still determine whether you need a 30 mm or 40 mm knob.

◑ Daiwa reels labeled “L” typically require a 45 mm knob instead of 40 mm.

◉ Trinidad A-Series owners: remove the original knob and measure the two internal bearing ODs:

◑ 8 mm & 7 mm → S Cup

◑ 9 mm & 9 mm → NS Cup
