CNC-machined from solid 6061-T6 aluminum and Type II anodized with a modern two-tone finish, this knob is stylish, lightweight (43 g / 1.5 oz), and built for saltwater use. Manufactured in Taiwan by a leading aluminum fishing-components maker.

Designed for the following setups:

◉ Accurate - Boss series, including all BX and Xtreme two-speed reels.

◉ Avet (older versions) - SX, MX, JX, LX, HX, Pro EX (single & two-speed).

➥ Note: Many older Avet and some Accurate knobs are riveted to the handle arm and are not removable without drilling.

◉ Any reel with a 5 mm hole in the handle arm once the original knob is removed.

⭕ Before You Start (Riveted Knobs)

If your factory knob is riveted, you must drill out the rivet to remove it. Work carefully:

⓵ Remove the entire handle from the reel; place it on a flat, stable surface. Wear eye protection.

⓶ Mark the rivet center with a center punch.

⓷ Drill a pilot hole with a small bit, then step up to a larger bit to remove only the rivet head.

◑ You do not need to drill deeply—just enough to free the head.

⓸ If the handle-arm hole is smaller than 3/16” (≈5 mm), carefully enlarge to 3/16” / 5 mm so the new B-Shaft hardware fits.

⓹ Deburr the hole, install the B-Shaft (use the 6 mm sleeve for legacy Avet if needed), and assemble per the diagram.

⓺ Tighten hardware snug (do not over-torque) and confirm the knob spins smoothly with no side play.
