The Ultimate Jigging 45 mm Reel Knob is precision-machined and delivers a near play-free fit (~0.01 mm) when installed correctly. For best results, keep all parts clean, aligned, and follow the included installation diagram step by step.

CNC-machined from solid 6061-T6 aluminum and Type II anodized with a two-tone finish, this knob is stylish, lightweight, and built for saltwater use.

This Accurate Model (B-Shaft) package is designed for:

◉ Accurate — Boss series including all BX and Xtreme two-speed reels.

◉ Avet (older versions) — SX, MX, JX, LX, HX, Pro EX (single & two-speed).

 ➥ Note: Many older Avet and some Accurate knobs are riveted to the handle arm and are not removable without drilling.

◉ Any reel with a 5 mm hole in the handle arm after the original knob is removed.

⭕ Before You Start (Riveted Knobs)

If your factory knob is riveted:

◉ You’ll need to drill out the rivet to remove the old knob.

◉ Wear eye protection and secure the handle on a flat, stable surface.

◉ Proceed carefully to avoid enlarging or deforming the arm.

⭕ Drilling & Installation Steps

⓵ Remove the entire handle from the reel and place it on a flat, stable surface.

⓶ Mark the rivet center with a center punch.

⓷ Drill a pilot hole with a small bit, then step up to a larger bit to remove only the riveted head.

◑ You do not need to drill deeply—just enough to free the head.

⓸ If the hole in the handle arm is smaller than 3/16” (≈5 mm), carefully enlarge it to 5 mm (3/16”) so the new B-Shaft can pass through.

⓹ Deburr the hole, insert the B-Shaft (use the 6 mm sleeve if your legacy Avet requires it), and assemble the new knob per the diagram.

⓺ Tighten hardware to snug (do not over-torque) and confirm the knob spins smoothly with no side play.
