➥ The NS shaft housing uses a waterproof O-ring to help keep saltwater out of the bearings.

⭕ Bearings

◉ NS shaft requires two bearings: 9 × 5 × 3 mm and 9 × 4 × 4 mm.

◑ You reuse your reel’s 9 × 5 × 3 bearing.

◑ We include the 9 × 4 × 4 bearing + spacer to replace the original 8 mm side.

Installation Tips

⓵ Reuse the 9 × 5 × 3 bearing from your factory knob and install it into the NS stainless shaft housing in the same position/order it came out.

⓶ Install the included 9 × 4 × 4 bearing and spacer on the other side to replace the original 8 mm bearing/sleeve.

⓷ After assembly, confirm the knob spins freely with no play. If needed, reuse an original shim to fine-tune.
